A new website launch for the next 7️⃣ Generations
Dear Youth Alliance Community,
After more than two decades of serving our community and helping them thrive in integral areas, including health, education, and pathways of opportunities for youth, we are proud to announce the relaunch of our website. We could not be more thrilled to update it – giving our members the resources they need – and doing so on a modern platform that is effective and efficient.
Three years ago, the pandemic changed everything. Overnight, our flourishing in-person youth-and-community-centered programs and events went dark. But that didn’t stop us. YA is resourceful, like the generations that came before us. Nothing – not even a less-than-optimal website – could stop us from ensuring our community had accurate information about school closures, virtual learning, social distancing, vaccines, and the Census. Juntos – we made it work – like we always do.
With so much change, Youth Alliance knew we needed to innovate and be forward-thinking in our approach. And so, our next step was to meet with the community to get their essential insight into how we could best meet their needs by updating our organization’s brand, values, and mission. And through the generous support of The David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Latino Community Foundation, we are excited to share with you today – YA’s new website.
Our new website reflects the rural communities we serve – from South Santa Clara County to all of San Benito County – as well as our broader push to transform systems led by the voices of our youth and families. Through an intergenerational approach youth, parents, and staff helped us co-create this virtual space that is inclusive and welcoming, and reminds us what is possible when youth and community are the drivers of change. This website represents the passing of the torch to the next generation of YA leaders who will cement our legacy for the next 7 Generations.
